- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- Add ground turkey to the pot and cook until browned.
- Stir in onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, macaroni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until macaroni is cooked.
- Stir in the chopped turkey bacon before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
