Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. Add ground turkey to the pot and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, macaroni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until macaroni is cooked.
  6. Stir in the chopped turkey bacon before serving.
