Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 bell pepper, diced

2 cans (15 oz) baked beans

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard (or Dijon/spicy brown)

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Add onion and bell pepper. Sauté 5–6 minutes until softened.

Stir in ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.

Add baked beans (with sauce). Stir to combine.

Transfer to a baking dish or keep in oven-safe skillet.

Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and slightly caramelized.

Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicy version, add jalapeños or chili flakes.
Swap beef with ground turkey or sausage for variation.
Add bacon or hot dogs for extra smokiness.
