- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt together.
- Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and maple syrup until evenly combined.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
