Description

A deliciously crispy and flavorful dish, Bang Bang Chicken combines tender chicken with a creamy, spicy sauce for a mouthwatering experience.


Ingredients

  • Chicken: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • For coating: 1 cup buttermilk, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Bang Bang Sauce: 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce, 1 tbsp sriracha, 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
  • Mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Preheat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  • Coat chicken in the flour mixture and fry for 4–5 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
  • Whisk sauce ingredients together until smooth.
  • Toss chicken in sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the sriracha.
  • For a healthier version, bake or air-fry the chicken.
