Ingredients

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Rub the mixture onto the ribs, coating well.
  5. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  7. Remove from oven, discard foil, and brush additional BBQ sauce on top.
  8. Grill on medium heat for 10 minutes, basting with sauce.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight in the BBQ sauce mixture.
  • Serve with coleslaw for a classic BBQ side dish.
