Description

A quick and easy recipe for Black Pepper Beef Stir-Fry that’s full of flavor and perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Transfer the beef to a plate and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil and sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until tender.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and add black pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar.
  6. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add some red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
