			- 1 cup brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 2 cups rolled oats
 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup chopped pecans
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter.
 - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until well combined, then fold in the chopped pecans.
 - Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
 - Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
 
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
 - Make sure to chop pecans finely for a better texture.
