Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until well combined, then fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
