			- 1 cup brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 2 cups rolled oats
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup pecans, chopped
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until smooth.
 - Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; stir in the vanilla.
 - In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
 - Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
 - Stir in the chopped pecans.
 - Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
 - Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
 
Notes
- For a chewier cookie, bake slightly less.
 - Add chocolate chips for an extra treat.
