- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup chocolate ganache, for topping
- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla, eggs, and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly. Let cool completely.
- Top with chocolate ganache and garnish with crushed peppermint candies.
Notes
- Make sure to let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating.
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
