Description
This Caramel Apple Puff Pastry Recipe is a wonderfully easy treat that combines the sweetness of caramel with the crispiness of puff pastry and the freshness of apples.

			- 2 sheets puff pastry
 - 3 medium apples, peeled and chopped
 - 1 cup caramel sauce
 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
 - 1 tablespoon sugar
 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
 
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
 - Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
 - In a bowl, mix chopped apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and sugar.
 - Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each pastry square.
 - Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal tightly.
 - Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
 - Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
 - Let cool before serving.
 
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the apple mixture.
 - Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
