Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with the cream of mushroom soup, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread half of the frozen French fries in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the beef mixture over the fries, then top with the remaining fries and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
