- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until soft.
- Remove from heat and stir in cream cheese, mozzarella, and Italian seasoning.
- Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom mixture.
- Season the outside of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in garlic and herb dressing for an hour before stuffing.
