A delicious and healthy chicken dressing casserole with a twist of turkey bacon.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 cups day-old bread, cubed
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onions, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, turkey bacon, celery, onions, and cubed bread.
- In a separate bowl, mix the chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, eggs, and milk.
- Pour the broth mixture over the bread mixture and mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and baked later.
- Substitute any leftover cooked meat for a customized dish.
