- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the sugars, bananas, applesauce, oil, egg, and vanilla until well blended.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
