- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, butter, egg, vanilla extract, and baking powder until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to create the crust.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and stir in whipped cream.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until set. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For extra festive flavor, add almond extract to the cheesecake layer.
- Decorate with sprinkles or crushed cookies before serving.
