Description

Celebrate the holidays with this delicious Christmas Sugar Cookie Cheesecake that combines the festive flavors of sugar cookies and rich cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and extracts, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
  5. Press the dough into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden, then allow to cool.
  7. In a new bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  8. Fold in the whipped topping until just combined.
  9. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
