- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and extracts, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
- Press the dough into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden, then allow to cool.
- In a new bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping until just combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle some festive sprinkles on top before serving.
