  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, and egg to the yeast mixture and stir well.
  3. Gradually mix in flour and salt until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Once dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
  7. Mix cinnamon and sugar together, then sprinkle over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls. Place them in a greased baking dish.
  9. Cover and let rise for another 20-30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
