Ingredients

  • 6 cups cubed stale bread
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and milk. Let it soak for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Add the melted butter and mix well.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the soaked bread and fold in the raisins.
