Description

A delicious and juicy three-envelope roast combining beef and turkey bacon for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds beef roast
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the onion soup mix, ranch dressing mix, and brown gravy mix together.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the beef roast.
  4. Place the beef roast in a roasting pan.
  5. Lay the turkey bacon strips over the roast.
  6. Pour the water into the pan.
  7. Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  8. Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes to allow the bacon to crisp.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the roast overnight with the spice mixture.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
