Description
A delicious homemade version of the popular Panda Express Orange Chicken, easy to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dip the chicken pieces into the flour mixture, coating them well.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate saucepan, combine the orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a boil.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry, then add to the sauce to thicken it.
- Coat the fried chicken with the orange sauce and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add red pepper flakes to the sauce for heat.
- Serve over steamed rice or with vegetables.
