Description

Delicious Cowboy Cream Cheese Jalapeño Poppers with a savory turkey bacon filling. Perfect for parties or as a tasty appetizer!


Ingredients

  • 12 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 10 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until blended.
  4. Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon and green onions.
  5. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
