Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of crab cake egg rolls, a delightful fusion of crispy rolls and savory crab filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound crab meat
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, carrot, and green onion. Mix well.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with a corner pointing towards you.
  3. Place 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture near the corner closest to you.
  4. Fold the corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
  5. Seal the edge with a bit of water.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the rolls until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
