Ingredients

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well mixed.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold over to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
