Description

Try this unique twist on classic Crab Rangoon using turkey bacon for a delicious appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, turkey bacon, green onions, and garlic powder until well blended.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the mixture onto the center of a wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half, and press to seal.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the wontons until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, try baking the wontons instead of frying.
  • Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
