Description

A deliciously creamy and cheesy baked macaroni dish, enhanced with turkey bacon and chicken ham for a flavorful twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then whisk in the flour to create a roux.
  4. Slowly add milk while whisking, and cook until the mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in cheeses until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, and chicken ham to the cheese sauce; mix well.
  7. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • For an extra crispy topping, sprinkle additional cheese on top before baking.
