- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, then allow to cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Slowly stir in heavy cream and pour the mixture into the cooled crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Let the pie cool completely before drizzling caramel sauce on top.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the cream is at room temperature for easier mixing.
- For a richer taste, use homemade caramel sauce.
