- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices turkey bacon, diced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, and stir to combine.
- Return the turkey bacon to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
