Description

A rich and delicious creamy garlic butter shrimp dish that incorporates crispy turkey bacon for added flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, diced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, and stir to combine.
  6. Return the turkey bacon to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
