Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour in the heavy cream and mix until combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until set in the center. Let it cool.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  8. To finish, sprinkle a layer of sugar on top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize it until golden brown.
