- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour (for gravy)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken steak in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown.
- For the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and slowly add milk to thicken.
- Serve the crispy steak with gravy on top.
