Description

A delicious recipe for crispy garlic parmesan chicken served over creamy asiago linguine.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 1 cup asiago cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Coat the chicken in flour, then in a mixture of garlic, parmesan, and parsley.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet, and sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Cook the linguine according to package instructions in salted water.
  6. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, asiago cheese, salt, and pepper over low heat until smooth.
  7. Toss the cooked linguine in the asiago sauce and serve with the chicken on top.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, broil the chicken for a few minutes after baking.
