Description
A heavenly blend of crème brûlée and caramel flavors in a decadent cake.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the heavy cream.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer taste, use brown sugar instead of white sugar.
- Serve with a drizzle of caramel sauce on top.
