- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 8 hot dogs
- oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, milk, and egg to form a batter.
- Insert wooden sticks into the hot dogs and coat them in the turkey mixture.
- Dip the coated hot dogs into the batter, ensuring they are fully covered.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully place the corn-dog-coated hot dogs into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
