Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, cooked and shredded
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
  5. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Roll out to 1 inch thickness.
