Ingredients

- 1 pound beef, cooked and shredded
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
- Turn out onto a floured surface and knead gently. Roll out to 1 inch thickness.
- Cut with a biscuit cutter and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve biscuits with cooked beef and crumbled bacon on top, drizzled with beef broth.
