This Dorito Taco Salad is a bold, crunchy, and customizable Tex-Mex-inspired dish perfect for potlucks, quick dinners, and parties.

- 1 large bag Dorito Nacho Cheese Chips, broken into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 red onion, diced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 6 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 2 cups ranch dressing
- Optional: black olives, corn, black beans, avocado, jalapeños
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning, Italian dressing, and ranch dressing to the beef. Stir and simmer until well coated and the liquid is absorbed.
- Prepare vegetables: shred lettuce, chop tomatoes, and dice red onion. Place each in separate bowls for a customizable setup.
- Add shredded cheese to a separate bowl.
- Right before serving, mix all ingredients together including the crushed Doritos, or allow guests to build their own salad.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- To keep chips crispy, add them right before serving.
- Use Greek yogurt ranch for a lighter version.
