Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the sliced apples.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the caramel glaze, melt butter, brown sugar, and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat; stir until smooth.
- Drizzle the caramel glaze over the cooled cake.
