Description

A delicious twist on classic French onion soup, served as a burger with turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop skillet.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Grill or cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with caramelized onions and Swiss cheese. Cover until the cheese melts.
  6. Spread Dijon mustard on the burger buns.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the buns.
