- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by the beef mixture, then the remaining potatoes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the casserole.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add some seasonings like paprika or thyme.
