- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by the beef mixture, and then half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk, then pour it over the casserole.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

- For extra flavor, add a layer of your favorite vegetables.
- Top with breadcrumbs for a crunchy texture.
