- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the strawberry puree, and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured pound cake pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
