- 1 cup honey
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and honey until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
