- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced jalapenos
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner facing you. Spoon about two tablespoons of the filling onto the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the top corner with a little beaten egg.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some jalapeno seeds in the filling.
- These egg rolls can be made in advance and frozen before frying.
