Description

These Jalapeño Popper Egg Rolls are a delicious fusion of flavors, combining crispy textures with cheesy goodness and a hint of turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 6 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, and turkey bacon until well mixed.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place a few tablespoons of the cheese mixture in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
  4. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more jalapeños or leave some seeds in.
  • These egg rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
