- 6 egg roll wrappers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, and turkey bacon until well mixed.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place a few tablespoons of the cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
- Seal the edge with beaten egg.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more jalapeños or leave some seeds in.
- These egg rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
