Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fruit filling (apricot, raspberry, or other)
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the flour and vanilla extract, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  5. Place a small amount of fruit filling in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the corners of the square toward the center and seal.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes or until golden.
  8. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
