Description

A rich and creamy recipe for a delicious chicken dish inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse’s Parmesan Crusted Chicken.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place the flour.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
  6. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in Italian dressing for a few hours before preparing.
