- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In one bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the flour.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in Italian dressing for a few hours before preparing.
- Serve with a side salad or vegetables for a complete meal.
