Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- While the cookies cool, mix the powdered sugar with maple syrup to create the icing.
- Drizzle or spread the maple icing over the cooled cookies.
Notes
