Description

A delicious blend of Mediterranean flavors combines with creamy spinach and melty cheese in this delightful grilled cheese sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices whole grain bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix spinach, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  3. Place two slices of bread in the skillet and top each with the spinach mixture.
  4. Cover with the remaining slices of bread, cooking until golden brown on each side.
  5. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
