Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (26 oz) marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a large baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by the ricotta mixture, then the meat sauce, and finally the last half of spaghetti.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
