- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (26 oz) marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by the ricotta mixture, then the meat sauce, and finally the last half of spaghetti.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sautéed vegetables to the sauce.
