Description

A rich and savory spaghetti casserole that’s perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by the ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include chopped vegetables in the meat mixture.
  • Let the casserole cool for 10 minutes before serving to help it set.
