Ingredients

- 1 pound spaghetti
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by the ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include chopped vegetables in the meat mixture.
- Let the casserole cool for 10 minutes before serving to help it set.
