Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the molasses and egg, mixing until combined.

  6. Roll the dough into balls and coat in powdered sugar.
