- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the sugars, cream, and butter over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture until the sugars dissolve and bring to a boil. Let it boil for about 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in the pecans and vanilla.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment paper and let cool.
Notes
- Make sure to use a candy thermometer for best results.
